l Strutton Ground’s claim to fame: close to Westminster Abbey and the Houses of Parliament, Strutton Ground is a narrow, cobbled street that was once a poor quarter that was home to labourers and artisans. It is famous for The Grafton Arms, a traditional London pub where the Goons used to meet in an upstairs room to work on comedy ideas and scripts which evolved into the cult BBC radio series, The Goon Show.
